John Woodward
Australian Federation Party candidate for Wide Bay
We live in a big country with huge natural resources. We are told that we live in a democracy. We are entitled to expect that the country be run for the benefit of the people.
In view of the size of our country the relatively small population and the huge resources available we should expect to have a prosperous and rewarding existence with plenty of opportunity for advancement for those willing to work hard. In fact Australia should be “Heaven on Earth.” List of policies.
Unfortunately, this is not the case. The politicians who are meant to represent our interests fail to do so. They actually represent the interests of international bankers who rule the world and Australia by virtue of their monopoly of the power to issue our money supply through their debt based monetary system. Less than 2% of our money supply is issued by our government. The remainder (more than 98%) is issued by the foreign controlled private banking system in the form of debt. If the politicians genuinely represented our interests there is no way that they would inflict such a system upon us. It is probable that most of our politicians allow the current system to persist through ignorance and that we allow this to happen through our ignorance. This ignorance is brought about by the bankers’ control of the media, our education system, the publishing industry and a healthy dose of bribery and corruption.
If the government represented our interests, they would take the power to issue the money supply away from the private banking system and issue 100% of the money supply. Some of the benefits which would result are as follows: –
-
No need for income tax on workers and Australian owned businesses.
-
Free universal insurance.
-
Free medical and dental.
-
Free education.
-
Infrastructure projects limited only by the available man power to do the job. For example “The Bradfield Scheme”.
-
Full employment. No place for unemployment. All able-bodied men and women who prefer not to work in the private system would find plenty of employment in the public system building roads, dams, railways etc. and also as genuine public servants actually helping people and businesses navigate whatever rules and regulations are necessary for the benefit and wellbeing of the people.
-
Generous pensions for the elderly and disabled and provision of care where needed all fully indexed for inflation.
-
Generous assistance in relation to the acquisition of a principal place of residence.
-
A strong military for as long as this remains necessary in a world where conflict is used to benefit the bankers.
-
Law enforcement properly trained to serve and protect the people and not act as revenue gatherers for a corrupt government.
-
All things necessary to protect our environment.
-
Humane treatment of animals.
-
Generous assistance to the people of nations less fortunate than us.
-
“Whatever the Australian people can intelligently conceive in their minds and will loyally support.” Sir Dennison Miller Australian Press of July 7, 1921, Talking about the government owned Commonwealth Bank then known as the “People’s Bank”.
To start the process of transforming our nation the constitution must be amended to:-
-
Prohibit the government from borrowing money.
-
Require the government to issue 100% of the money supply debt free.
-
Outlaw taxation of workers and Australian owned businesses.
You may think that my proposals are fanciful but it is not new. In Australia we had the Government owned Commonwealth Bank known affectionately as “The Peoples Bank“. Abraham Lincoln proposed this system in 1865 shortly before his assassination in the following words:-
“The government should create, issue and circulate all the currency and credit needed to satisfy the spending power of the government and the buying power of consumers. The privilege of creating and issuing money is not only the supreme prerogative of government, but it is the government’s greatest creative opportunity. Money will cease to be master and become the servant of humanity. Democracy will rise superior to the money power.”

Most people I speak with realise that our economy and politics are in a sorry state, but they go on to say:- “What can I do about it???” Hopefully my website will make you aware of where the problem lies and you will be able to do something about it. A tiny first step maybe but we have to start somewhere. Spread the link to this website. “Our government should issue our money. Not the Banks” The Bankers Song – John Woodward 2004 click here
