My main reason for going to the first Yellow Vest gathering on the Sunshine Coast was that the policy which took pride of place on their yellow vest banner was “Publicly Owned Banks”. By this I took them to mean banks owned by the people or at least owned by a People’s government like the original “Peoples Bank” the government owned Commonwealth Bank of Australia. It could equally mean nationalisation of the banks as was heroically attempted by Labor’s Ben Chifley and shamefully defeated by the High Court declaring it invalid on spurious grounds.
While I agree with the objectives now stated on the Yellow vests banner, I believe they are directed at symptoms of the real problem which is the Private Bank’s power to create almost 100% of our money supply as debt and therefore turn us all into “Debt Slaves.” The objective of “Publicly Owned Banks” goes to the root cause of the problem. Concentrating on treating symptoms instead of the root cause only prolongs the problem. I have unfortunately come to the conclusion that the Yellow Vests movement in Australia has already been infiltrated by the Bankers as I see that as the only reasonable explanation for the substantial change to their banner and therefore the intended public perception of their cause.
I could have gone to the gathering in Brisbane today and attempted to ingratiate myself in the hope of getting their backing for my Senate campaign but I decided to simply tell the truth as I see it. I am certain that almost all members of the movement are absolutely genuine in their desire to make Australia and the World a better place and I have no idea who the rotten apple might be but I suggest that the movement return to their previous primary focus of “Publicly Owned Banks.” Once this is achieved all of the other objectives will fall into place.
